As the Minister of Faith Formation Jason Haldeman brings a passion for helping people of all ages to grow on their faith journey as individuals and as part of a larger community. Before Jason joined the pastoral staff at Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren in 2016 he served for 15 Summers at Camp Swatara as a Counselor, Volunteer and Program Coordinator for summer camp activities. He earned his BA in History from University of La Verne and teaching certification from Millersville University. Jason is currently pursuing his Masters of Divinity through  Bethany Theological Seminary.

Jason has a passion for helping to cultivate a fun, exciting and loving community of people seeking to follow in the work of Christ. Jason and his wife Ashley enjoy being a part of the Elizabethtown Community with their children, Oliver and Winnie. When they are not snuggled up with a good book they enjoy spending time in the outdoors, hiking, camping or going for walks around town.
